Alva and associates was established in 1967 as a Design & Consultancy firm by Er. K.N. Alva, a civil Engineer, who had abundant experience working with major infrastructure companies. In the past 6 decades the firm has designed and executed more than thousands of Residences, numerous Apartment blocks, scores of commercial and Industrial projects, Various Educational Institutions, Wellness & Hospital Buildings, Religious Buildings, Housing Colonies, Heritage Village, parks and resorts, some monumental restoration works and allied projects like Zoo’s, meditation centres and urban infrastructure projects.

Proprietor & Principal Architect.

Architect & Entrepreneur who believes in architecture taking the form of its creation, blending with its function and aging with the forces of nature culminating in timelessness, armed with a Diploma in Civil Engineering and Bachelor Degree in Architecture, a professional experience of 25 years in the field of Architecture, Engineering, Interiors, Landscape and Services, who specialize in Master Planning, Contemporary and Classical Designs, Heritage Buildings and Restoration of Monumental Structures, skilled in Project Management Consultancy, Managing Business Planning / Analysis/ Contracts, Requirement Gathering, Forecasting / Budgeting, Process & Resource Planning, Implementation / Development, Monitoring, Release, Training, Support and more. Presently Proprietor & Chief Architect of Alva & Associates a 50 years old ISO 9001:2015 consulting Firm having done numerous projects ranging from Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality, Health Care, Heritage Village, Biological Parks and various other projects. Also Managing Director of Green Stone Projects & Estates Pvt Ltd having managed & completed several real estate and infrastructure projects etc. Managing Director of Ashtadik Infrastructure Planning Consultants Pvt Ltd, Urban Planning and PMC Company, & empanelled with various organization & banks as in house architects Member of Council of Architects, New Delhi, Present Chairman of Indian Institute of Architects Mangalore Manipal Center, has won Ultra Tech awards in architecture for outstanding villas in 2007 & 2012 & outstanding Public building in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Shivamoga District in 2019.

K.N. Alva

Design Consultant and Registered Consulting Engineer

He has been a Project Management Consultant and Registered consulting Engineer with the Mangalore City Corporation for 50 years. He has successfully executed numerous projects of all scales and types in his career spaning more than 5 decades. He is also the past President and Advisor of Association of consulting Civil Engineers Mangalore Chapter. He is also chartered Engineer for Mangalore Co-Operative Building Society, various Banks, Institutions, Religious Trusts etc. He is also the past Chairman for Building, Health and Sanitation Committee of Canara Chamber and Commerce, Mangalore, Asst. Commissioner for Bharath Scouts and Guides.

Mr. Suraj N Alva

PMC Consultant

He has immense knowledge about project management in various levels including due diligence, financials, and construction management. He has completed successfully some major projects and a few in house ventures comprising of residence, layouts and Apartment Complex in and around Mangalore.

Kiran MJ

HR & Customer Relationship Manager

He has 11 years of experience working in this firm, during which period he has dealt with matters relating HR & customer relationship, internal administration, liasoning, finance, planning, and Job approvals.

Javed Nadeem

Project Coordinator and designer

With an experience of 14 years, he is proficient in concept designing, sanction drawings, structural drawing, presentation drawing, working drawings, etc. He has been working with Alva & Associates in various capacities over the years.

He has in hand 11 years of experience at site and proficient in Quantity survey, site management, quality control and Bill certifications.

Architect

He has a work experience of 1 years and has been working with us in various projects as conceptual designer, visualizer and proficient in generating 3D view in various mediums.

Design Engineer

With an experience of 3 years in this field of engineering she is proficient in Cad designing including, presentation drawing, working drawings, sanction drawings etc.

Interior Design

She has in hand 5 years of experience of working in this firm, during which period she has dealt with matters relating to Conceptual Drawings, Presentation Drawings, and Architectural Drawings.
